What can Regulate and Restore feel like?
The Myofascial Release component is a physical, hands-on
technique. Using gentle but purposeful pressure with my
hands, knuckles and elbows, I work with the fascia through
slow stretches and sustained contact, giving the tissues
time to respond.
The work begins around the neck, shoulders and base of the
skull, and can then move through the upper arms, underarms,
back and along the body towards the sacrum and pelvis.
The techniques used will vary from session to session,
giving us the opportunity to work with different areas
of the body over time.
You may feel stretching, warmth or a sense of things
beginning to soften and change, even in areas I’m not
directly working on. Every session can feel different
as your body responds in its own way.
From there, the session moves into Spinal Flow®,
supporting nervous system regulation.
The intention is not to make the body release something
specific. Instead, we create the conditions for you to release, receive, integrate and expand,
allowing your body to determine what is a priority
in each moment.
